The FCC has decided to implement a $35 fee for ham license applications, that includes upgrades.
The date of implementation hasn't been released yet BUT DON'T DELAY.

The Patriot VE Team is not a club - we are an independent group of hams who just want to give back and help others get licensed. Our VEs are from all parts of the state and members with many different ham radio clubs.
Despite covid we have seen an increase in the number of new hams this year, with 257 new hams compared to 208 in 2019 (with twice as many taking both Technician and General at the same time).
We encourage everyone to join and support their local club and/or clubs who's repeaters they use.
