The class will be on Tuesday and Thursday nights, starting from 6 PM MST to 9 PM MST.   Class is on Google Meer, with the link being sent to you after registration of the class.

To gain more privileges on HF, that person(s) must be licensed and know the rules to operate legally. US licenses are good for ten years before renewal, and anyone may hold one except a foreign government representative. In the US, there are three license classes—Technician, General, and Extra.

The world of HF Amateur Radio is vast, and it starts with a 35 question FCC licensing test to upgrade that person(s) privileges.  There are many places to get study material or even take practice tests. The General License Ham Radio class is part of ongoing series structured to get you to pass the test.  After you pass the test, there will be encouragement from the Patriot VE Team and Colorado Ready to learn more.

The class is led and taught by ARRL register instructor(s) from Patriot VE Team and Colorado Ready.

Study Resources
Studying is the key to passing the exam/test, and practicing the questions in any form is the key. Below are just a few places that you can find some study materials:

Volunteer Examining Team
The Patriot VE Team is providing the testing locations and the volunteers to man the testing.
