Looks like they are still settling on locations. I am sure there will be an update.  Here is the information:

Saturday, April 22, 2023, is Earth Day and the Greater Colorado Council Environmental Committee is planning to have District Level "Good Turn For Ecology" events across the state from 8am to Noon.

They have asked if we would set up a Ham Radio Field Day event at the same time in the same locations, allowing participating Scouts an opportunity to talk to one another across the council.

Current locations include;
  • Centennial District - Cherry Creek State Park
  • Valley District - Rocky Mountain Arsenal Nature Preserve
  • Alpine District - Lake Lehow
  • Black Feather District - Castlewood Canyon or Parker Open Space
  • Frontier District - Berkely Lake Park
  • Three Rivers & Majestic Mesas Districts - Various points along the Colorado River
We will be using the Rocky Mountain Radio League / Skyhub link repeater network, so even 5watt handheld radios should be able to reach the net.
