Hello Everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me out. This past Tuesday (Solar) Elmer night it was mentioned that there was a new unprotected repeater that was perma linked on the mountain. I have been trying to connect with my yaesu VX-8DR to that frequency 449.425 -125 Offset and haven't been able to. I was wondering how to do that on my radio as there is no standard -125 offset setting. I think I can connect tx but I do not hear rx response. Any guidance would be appreciated, I have had trouble connecting to any nets since I purchased this radio new after getting my ticket. So as you can imagine I've been frustrated that I haven't been able to enjoy the HAM experience.
