I acquired a Collins 51J-4 this summer and had the tubes tested and a couple of caps replaced and it receives on all bands and is very clean, but recently the audio out has faded completely. I would like to have this restored to have a lifetime radio that I can pass down someday, but. I need help. I am not very technically savvy, but I can pay, help, or trade a Hallicrafters SX-62 in working condition for a resto. I have a GDS-2202A O-Scope that we could use if someone just wants to help and teach.
