As NEW Kenwood TM-281A 2 meter transceiver.  Original box and mic with manual and mobile mouse ting bracket.  Power cable has been shortened but is set up with power poles.  This is a 65 watt radio or lower power on low settings.  New,  these are currently selling for $200.  I have this priced at $100 for PRA club members.  If you are looking for a nice 2-meter radio, this is it.  This radio is still under warranty for approx. 10 months.  AC5S 303-362-3933

Paul, does the TM-281 have the data port on the back of it?

The 281 does not have a data port dedicated to that function, the best I can tell.  On-line I see people using the radio for data work using the mic port, as the mic port also doubles as the programming path (MCP-1A programming cable)

So I believe you can use the radio for packet and such but it may take more research or someone else chiming in.
