On a Yaesu FT2D, how do you turn off APRS signaling? I was able to configure and use but can't figure out the "off" switch for APRS packets. I though I could go to the menu setting and turn off the modem, but that didn't work.

Paul, on the FT3D, (essentially the same radio with a color screen), the APRS on/off switch is in the APRS Modem screen. The settings are Off/1200/9600. Basically, the on/off is governed by the modem menu. Hope that helps!
